Research Paper: "A Modern Warning to the Classical Artists of 1940s Hollywood"

This research project was completed as a final in a course called "Fiction Film Theory." I was tasked with comparing a historical film with one of our choice. I decided to look further into the similar themes I saw in Who Framed Rodger Rabbit (1988) to Sunset Boulevard (1950). From Themes of characters and actors being forgotten, to business monopolization, my research is on how Who Framed Rodger Rabbit, seems to hint a warning to the timeless Sunset Boulevard of the proceeding era of the film industry.

Film Analysis: My Thoughts on the Gen Silent Documentary
Film: Gen Silent (2011)

This film was watched in one of my general education classes called "Aging by Numbers" that focused on the process of aging and societal pressures and stereotypes about those growing older. We also focused on overlooked challenges older people face. The documentary Gen Silent discusses the difficulty of older generations living in silence as members of the LGBTQ community, for fear of losing connection and necessary care if they were to come out to their family.
